Fine line tattoos are usually less painful than other styles, as they are performed with a lower voltage and shallower penetration into the skin. Additionally, the sensation of pain varies depending on the artist's technique, the area of the body being tattooed, and each person's pain tolerance. In general, this type of tattoo is less invasive, making it an ideal choice for those looking for a gentler experience.
At the end of your appointment, we will give you detailed instructions for your tattoo aftercare. As it is an open wound, it is essential to keep it clean, avoid friction with tight clothing, and not expose it to the sun. It is also recommended to avoid exercise, excessive sweating, and submerging it in water for at least two weeks to ensure proper healing.
A fine line tattoo usually heals superficially in about 7 to 10 days, but complete skin regeneration can take up to 4 weeks. During this time, it is important to follow the proper care to ensure optimal healing.
These types of tattoos may need touch-ups over time, especially if they are in areas close to lymph nodes or excessively exposed to the sun. However, with the right care, they can remain sharp and defined for years.
We do not recommend getting tattooed during these stages, as the body is in a state of increased sensitivity and healing may be slower. Additionally, there is a risk of adverse reactions to the ink.
